Best IM for FMIC

First off i don't intend to do anything yet just more or less planning for when i eventually take the plunge into turboing my NA 88 rx7. Anyways i plan on using a FMIC. I know of a few options for doing this, one being working IC piping around a IM that faces the wrong way and the other of slapping on an FD IM. I think both are the same amount of a PITA. I was also wondering if anyone has used the 13b-re IM with a FMIC, or if there are any aftermarket options available. Anywho just looking for opinions on the above ideas or any other ideas anyone might have thanks.

You can score TII intakes pretty cheap.

If you really wanted to it would be possible to get the na intake to work. Maybe a same side inlet/outlet cooler or some sort of U bend comming off the tb.

I'm probably not much help here but that's my two cents. Hopefully you get more answers soon and good luck with your project!

Get a set of TII intakes and a NA lower intake - block gasket. Hold the gasket to the TII lower on the block side of the intake. This will show you what needs to be done to match the intake to your 6 port block. Get a die grinder and some JB Weld, cut out what you need to and fill in the other areas.

Whammo, TII intakes on a 6 port block.

BTW, 13b-re doesn't even come close to fitting.
