What is that sound?

Lately, I've been noticing a weird noise when I come to a complete stop and just as the car begins to roll back slowly (may it be a slope or hill) I hear this weird noise coming from the passenger rear area. The noise sounds like a whale in the ocean, underwater. I apologize, I can't explain the noise. What do you think it is (shocks, struts, brakes....)?

I think it may be due to a misalignment on the rear because I hit the sidewalk pretty hard a couple of weeks ago.
