best flamethrowing exhaust for n/a cars

what is the best sounding exhaust for the n/a's? i want to throw flames too. i heard that a header is actually a bad idea, so no header. was going to go 2.75 all the way out, with a resonator and single apex'i n1. dont have to worry about emmissions, but how will the car run without the cat or air pump?

Header is always a good idea! Of course it makes your car a bit loud

Whoever told you that headers are bad is obviously smoking crack. Don't listen to a single piece of advice from that person, They don't know what they're talking about.

if you don't get a header... doesn't it make it a lot harder to shoot flames....?

If you don't get a header, it's impossible to throw flames. Might I suggest this?

Don't ask us for our oppinions on sound. Many people say this and others say that. If you don't have a sound clip to go off of you can not think of an exhaust as bad or good sounding.

And flame throwing is natural with any exhaust that is straight and free flowing.

I have a custom exhaust system from custom header all the way back to two greddy style mufflers. They are kinda like true dual but from the header its two pipe then a midpipe and two pipe for each mufflers all welded together. This exhaust system is extremely loud compared to my old set-up of Bonez race pipe to n1 cat-back on my old GXL. BTW, this exhaust system backfire like crazy too.

well if your concerned about sound do not put headers and a 3" mandrel bent catback to a HKS HiPower muffler, on a streetport. thats loud!!! I made it that way knowing I would go to turbo later on. mine shoots bigass flames. I set up the 2 step to enrich fuel and rev limit at 4500. just turn that on and hold the throttle open and up in flames go the car behind me
