Best FC ever?

This is the plan for my rx7. its an 88 SE and I'm puting on it in the next few years after a engine swap the following: Invader front bumper, NSX sideskirts, Ferarri 360 Spider mirrors, and a Ferarri f50gt rear wing. It is gonna be so awesome! I'm so excited for it to be finished!

heres a picture

Here is a picture of what it will look like. Obviously all the colors don't match up, and the front bumper is a completely different color, but you get the idea.

ricey

I'm not looking to impress anyone, I'm just starting out in the world of imports. it is only my first car and I'm just looking to have some fun in my free time. I'm only 16 by the way, and all the cars in my gay town are extremely "ricey" so i don't think anyone will criticise it. I just really like the looks of all those parts and want them on my car. if you think that is ricey thats ok by me.

That actually looks pretty good dude! Good luck with the project. Although I would advise increasing the hp to back up those killer looks. Just a thought.

forum?

Who said anything about being new to the forum? I've been checking this forum for quite a while, and i think the car looks sweet. If its too ricey, then I'll just take it off, but I think its gonna look pretty sweet. No one has ever done anything cool to the body of their second gen that I've seen, they just all look stock except maybe the front bumper. If you could show some pics or links to sweet looking 2nd gens, then maybe I'll change my mind, but otherwise this is the most modified body i've seen. Maybe i just haven't looked hard enough though. By the way I only named the thread "best FC ever?" cause i've done the same thing before with a diff name and no one replied. I don't think its the best fc ever by any means.

more hp

Yeah, I'm actually waiting to do this until after i get a engine transplant to a newer engine. Its a n/a so I'm gonna get a turbo engine, then do the body work. I don't wanna waste my money making my crappy car look cool just to impress people. I wanna do engine stuff first, i just was having some fun messing around with the looks i want. It'll probably be a year or two till i get it all done cause i don't have alot of money, but I hope to have a good FC someday.

I like the NSX side skirts but thats about it.

I have a few idea's like that but more performance oriented.

1) Porsche GT2 brakes, 6 POT ceramic/carbon-fiber composite.

2) Ferrari 375M Transmission, 6 speed manual/auto Paddle shift.

I would love to just have those two things on my FC

My GOODNESS!!! What rice field did that thing come from? j/k Sorry to be mean.

Welcome to the forum. I say the best FC ever is RE Amemiya's FC2000.

Thats the best so far. I hear he's making and designing a new kit.

Personally, I would rather see you put on a kit made for the FC. I mean, that could be cool, but something with ferrari parts on an FC..just sounds too out of place for me. But hey, thats just my opinion, your entitled to yours as well.

The whole 'rice' thing is way out of hand on this forum, but nothing I say is going to change that. So, I think I'll say something. The whole 'rice' thing is out of hand. Stop it. Now.

I don't think the front end would look bad. Almost any somewhat tasteful kit (mostly all but the ones that have 5,000 non-functional intake vents on them) would look okay if they done with a professional look. I guess I'm just too meticulous and perfectionistic.

Kits that look good? I would have to say that one of my favorite front ends would be the Border (Type II). Sideskirts as well. I don't like the RE Amemiya kit. I guess you could say I'm a fan of pop up lights.

A major suggestion that I have would be to get a Sport model instead. The larger brakes would make it worthwhile.

Good luck.

It's cheaper to sell your NA and buy a TII than it is to add a turbo to your NA. Cheaper, easier, and a better car in the end.

I like NSX sides, dont' like the rest.

all I can say is.... have fun payin for all the bodywork you're gonna have to do, hope you can learn to do it yourself or you're going to be in the umpteen thousands of dollars there buddy! I don't like the mirrors, they're a bit much, the bomex ones might look better (imho), but good luck on the project, it's a lot harder than you think(check my avatar)

Those parts are nice on the cars they are made for. Which is exactly my point, they are made for other cars. Not only would they look out of place but all body parts arent exactly interchangable. I'll give you a dollar if you can pull it off, wait make that $2.

A lot of the people on this forum are really mean. I pity you guys. I give the kid props. If that is the type of stuff that he likes, then go for it. I mean, yea, the kid is going to get commented on his stlye, but its not like everyone is going to like/not like it. Everyone has their own way of doing things. If thats the way you want to go, then more power to you. Have some style, but keep it tasteful. Oh, and the RE kit is awesome, love it.
