I just had an Exedy stock spec clutch with a Fidanza 8 lb. flywheel put in. I couldn't be happier.

I bought a stock clutch from Mazda, its made by Exedy, works great. It holds up really well, especially with drifting, clutch kicking it constantly, still hasn't slipped. I've had it for about a year now. Pretty cheap too, I only payed I think $125 for it.

P.O. installed clutch in sig. It's annoyingly grabby during low throttle until you get used to it and release carefully. But it's fine now that I'm used to it and during high throttle I can just slam it into gear if I want (not that I do). So it's good, but if I was getting one myself I wouldn't get it.

I didn't have a whole lot of time to go into detail with my first post, so here is a more detailed review. I got my Exedy BNIB from the B/S/T section for $125 shipped and the flywheel from ebay for ~$300 shipped. After they were installed, I jumped in the car, started it, and drove away without any problems. That was two weeks ago and I haven't stalled the car once. Starting off with the lighter flywheel is no where near as bad as poeple say it is, and makes the car rev faster and just feel all around sportier and more fun. The feeling of less torque when engaging the clutch is not bad either. The exedy clutch is smooth, not grabby, and is also easy to start with, but really holds well on hard starts and fast shifting. Before the new parts, I would redline the car and slam second as hard and fast as I could (which, not to brag, but is pretty fast), and the rear tires would not budge. I can now chirp them shifting @ around 5000 rpms.

I got the rp standard clutch for my 87 n/a and it worked pretty well.

I ordered it for my 90 vert which needs it badly. Now I just have to find someone to install the damn thing (once I receive it of course).
