Best Alternator Ugrade

Hey guys I was wondering what would be the best alternator upgrade for a 1990 Turbo II?

Right now my alternator is good to go....but I expect to run a pretty nice stereo in the future (2 amps etc) and think I may have to upgrade.

I think the easiest would prolly be retrofitting a 3rd gen alternator... its fairly cheap too... about $140 canadian... (too lazy to convert)
There are lots of posts about how to do it...

Well I am looking for something that will be easy to install and not require to much modifications.

My budget is not a concern...as long as the dang thing dosen't cost over $500

There really isn't that much modification involved... just the pulley needs to be changed, and you need to put a nut on the end of the adjustment bolt...

I have another set that came off of a GM alternator. Any alternator shop should have the pulley you need.
