benefits of fd parts on Fc..

Whats the benefit of an FD uim or alternator on an FC? Ive seen people talking about it, I dont see why the stock uim or alternator would work any less effectively

It's wired to provide more amps. As for the UIM, most people do it for the better layout of the piping for a FMIC, or simply because the runners are larger IIRC.

IIRC S4 alts are 80 amps, S5 100, and S6 120... sound right guys? Or its 80-90-100, I can't remember which. I'm running an S6 on my FC... its decent..., though I didn't notice much an improvement to be honest.... I suppose it did take away the stress of the old alt though.

if you're running stock with no electrical add-ons, you probably wouldn't see much of a difference. but if you're planning on something like a bumping sound system or an e-fan in the summertime, an fd alt would be a good idea.
