Mine is not a full time racecar in fact is daily driven,bridgeported/big turbo and it runs gilmer pulleys so those are my obstacles right now.I have a LT9C and i can control my aic and adjust the idle when the compressor kicks in so that is not problem but my main concern is adapting the tensioner/ac condenser units to my gilmers.Maybe im just dreaming but i want ac so bad on this car.Sorry for the highjack........i am gonna open my own thread.

i dont see it happening with the gilmer set up unless you can somehow piggyback another pulley to it to drive the AC then the spacing will probably be all wrong

if you really want AC you will most likely have to ditch your current set up

the wiring- the AC trigger wire passes through the factory ECU plug, if you wired the car to the LT9C you will have to jump 2 wires ( i forget the colors ) so that the AC will turn on when you press the button on the dash

That is the main problem..........the gilmer setup.Im gonna go spent some time one aussie forums cause i know they have some crazy setups running ac still.
