belt for the airpump
Ok so I was a little lazy and just cut the belt off for the airpump. I yanked off the airpump and I have the ACV and split air pipe block off on the way. Well I'm an idiot because I have to pass emissions now and I wasn't really thinking. The plan is to put the stock cat/pre cat back and run a hose from the airpump to the lower half of my split air pipe into the cat...this is only a 2 hour set up. Once I pass it's all coming back off...but I have to pass first. So to stop my rambling: where can I get a belt for the airpump. Do I need to order it from mazdatrix, or can I get it from autozone or something. What is the size specs for it? My factory service manual is at dcamco0's house

GSRacer if you go to autozone they will get you the right size belt just say its for the airpump and you got it
tom i dont know you might want to get the two precats also
i know they are just for warmup but they might test you when your car isnt all the way warmed up
i dont have emmisons so i dunno

I don't need to worry about the pre-cats, emissions here isnt that complicated. My REPU is old enough that it will only be tested at idle and the inspectors tell you to make sure you warm it up all the way before testing. I am mostly worried if there is any reason that going straight to the cat from the air pump would be bad, I know in stock configuration the air pump goes through the crap on the intake manifold and dont know if there are any problems with bypassing that.
