So this is pretty new, and I never changed anything either, but now when I turn my car on or even turn the key in the on position (without cranking it) I hear a beeping noise. Similar to the one when you have the headlights on and the door open, however they aren't on and the door is closed...

Also, I started my car up yesterday, let it idle, rev'd it to about 4000 and then when I let off it died and flooded I believe?

 

Sounds like the seat belt reminder. Try again with the seat belt on. Your flooding is unrelated.
