Beeping noise

OK, i changed the battery terminal because it was corroded. I changed the negative and seperated the grounding wire from the negative wire. When i started up the ar it made the beeping noise you hear at redline. what could it be? the coolant indicator light is on but the coolant resivoir is full. what could be wrong/
