beeping alert sounds

beeping alert sounds

hey guys

i have some problems with my fc
when i drive it alway will have this 5 beep warning
any idea what is it and how 2 fix it

That is the power steering warning. Something is up with the system. If you search for "power steering beeps" you should find lots of info.

temporarily you can unplug it to stop the beeping

it is right infront of your crotch under the dash

silver box about 6"x6" impossible to miss

BTW I have 2 of everything as far as the powersteering system goes

found in the FAQ for FC sticky thread.. read it before posting, and if you do what liv recommends, then you will loose all power steering.

5 beeps normally indicates a mis-aligned position sensor. Did you change the steering wheel recently???

yeah i did read just that i don't know how to fix it.

If you changed the steering wheel, you put the new wheel on wrong. You didn't line up the two steering position sensor pins on the steering column to the back of the steering wheel
