depends where it was sitting. if it was sitting outside, i dont think so. if it was sitting in a gerage, then i would put it in a tub of motor oil to atleast get to all the parts and soak it a lil bit before i would fire it up.

nothing will be wrong with your motor..fi it was a good rebuild then she should be fine..sitting does not make them go bad...I put a motor in a 1st gen that had been sitting for years..in a junkyard no less....they are not made of cotton

How does it turn by hand? I'd assume it wouldn't carbon lock as long as it was properly cleaned during the rebuild. And if it was kept away from too much moisture it should be fine.

Inject some oil into the spark plug holes and let it sit over night. Then manually turn the engine to the next chamber and do the same thing until you've done it to all chambers. That should help with the engine startup.

my car sat rotting away for 2 years. poped in a new battery, made sure it had coolant and oil.. then damn thing started up on the first crank.. with old gas and all.
so I'm sure yours would be just fine (it also has 200,000km)
