A Beautiful Thing.....(ive waited 3 months)

WEll as most of you may know im 15 years old.. i did the engine swap to my Rx7 alone.. well the idle all started at 2700 and that turned out to be a vac leak... then i went over and over it and the idle was at 1700... so i was so madd.. so i im dDUB on the fourm(i chat with him alot) and asked him to take me 50 pics of his engine bay from everyangle to see if i could figure out mine.. well i noticed my grounds are messed up and i had a few vacuum lines mixeed up... so i fixed the noticed problems and then i statred it and it went down to 1200... so then i adjusted the TPS and CAS and the little trottle thing on the back of the TB...(looks like a little bell) so i started it up and then took this picture

(please dont say anything about the cracked plastic just look at the picture)

a nice 750-800 rpm idle

I still got em resized and zipped if you really do

File is 3.58MB after I sized them all to 800x600 and used a picture resizer to cut the disk space down on each. Still good quality.

Hah, keep those around dDub, I have a billion of my S5 N/A from this rebuild (about 1gb of pictures... uncompressed though, and mostly all 1024x768 or bigger) so maybe when they're all done we can pool them, make a good reference.

Deranged Hermit: I pm'd you, yes they are of an s4 n/a engine bay.

Bob: I save every pic I take of my car and its engine bay, no worries. Plus all the pics I find useful or of something I eventually want to do

I'm 48 and have never pulled/installed my engine without 'adult supervision' (K. Landers)
You've got a lot to be proud of!!

Outstanding job. But can I ask how does a 15 year old buy and own 4 FC's. You must have some very understanding parents?
