BBS mesh wheels painted - picture request!

I've read through all of 2 or 3 threads like this, but there are no pictures, and the link no longer work. I'll soon be purchasing convertible wheels, and I'd like to paint them.

Lets make this the official bbs mesh wheel thread!

I especially want to see bronze and black painted meshies.
Post up pics and your technique to painting them!

I painted mine with Duplicolor wheel paint.

scrubbed each wheel really well. two coats of base, three coats of clear. one can of each did all four. I am very pleased with the results!

this is the only picture I have. and it does no justice at all for the following reasons
1- they're dirty and covered in brake dust
2- the shot was taken when it was very dark at night
3- (this one ties into the 2nd) I was playing around with very long exposure times in the dark.

I think bronze would look hot on a red vert.

Yeah I was gonna say your rims would have looked badass if you would have left the lip polished and just hit the mesh with paint. That's what I want to do in a dark color.

the finish that was on them was really oxidized and pitted... which is why I opted out of polishing. I can always do it later anyways.

That's exactly how I'm doing mine (the vert) except possibly in bronze with a polished lip.

Looks nice man!
