battery won't live

i jump started my car and rev'd it to 3k for 15 minutes but it won't turn back on when i shut it off. its not charging. wat should i do?

buy a new battery and/or alternator.

ummmm....... get it tested, or just replace it. If it's more than a few years old it's most likely dead. Mine sure as hell was.

charge the battery then take it to any autoparts store, they can test it, if it tests out ok , its prolly an alternator

i forgot to say that my battery was dead for about half a year..............

If that battery has been dead that long , no matter what you do the battery, it will not charge. When a battery drops to 9V or less, and you don't re-charge immediately, the plates starts to corrode (somewhat like the white crap on the terminals but in a jell substance). You need a new battery.

Get a new battery.Are the terminals all dented up and corroded?
