Battery hold down questions.

I've got an S4 and am looking for a battery hold down thing. I intend on taking my car to the strip, but in oreder to, I need my battery to be secured properly. THe last guy rigged it up with what looks like a dog leash and some zip ties.

Does anyone know of any battery hold downs that will fit in the car, or where I can get one cheaper than Mazdatrix?

Any auto parts store or even big chain stores with auto departments (i.e. KMart, Wal*Mart, Target, etc.) should have "universal" kits.

Yup. It's two big long J-hooks with a bar or strip of heavy rubber across the top. Secure them to the lugs on the battery holder, tighten down the wingnuts. Don't tighten it *too* much, or you stand a good chance of sheering the plugs off the battery box.

I picked up a set of the j-hooks at napa yesterday... I had to trim them down though. I didnt look for a bar for the top because I'm using one that came off my nissan parts car... but they should have a bar too.

It looks like whatever I'm supposed to have isn't there. Any ideas, or am I just missing something really obvious?

If you look at the last picture, the tab sticking out at the bottom is waht the j-hook hooks on to. There's an identical one on the other side.
