Battery Cables
Anyone know where I can buy battery cables already made (right length, connectors on). If not, how long a cable do I need? I did seach but only real thing I saw was I need 4 gauge wire
Thanks

Your local auto parts store should have many lengths and "varieties" to choose from. IIRC, the ground cable (with a seperate 10 gauge for the strut tower ground) I bought for mine was like 52", it was a little too long for a straight run, but not a problem...I've not had to replace my positive run, so I can't help ya there (as far as length goes). 4 gauge is fine for the negative run, 4 or 6 gauge works for the positive run (assuming you haven't relocated the battery)...

Ok, thanks! I did see some at Walmart and Autozone, but they look like junk. I guess they are ok though
Oh, after you install new ones, can you just cut off the existing cable ends and wrap up with tape inplace instead of unraveling the wiring harness and pulling them out? Or is that just asking for trouble
