battery or alternator?
so i just got my fc back from being rebuilt on saturday
the battery had sat for a month and a half but we recharged it
a little. the next day it wouldnt start up. my gauges wouldnt work and
only my cd player would light up. i get it recharged at kragen and it works fine
until a couple hours later. it wouldnt start again. AAA came and gave it a jump and
it started right up.
is it a bad alternator or is the battery done?

Battery is dead. 100% sure.
The alternator works only when The engine is running. The cars uses the battery to start it only then the alt takes over.
Also, FYI, a battery that sits there for a while with no charge will end up not keeping its charge when charged...
Hence, what yours is doing.
