battery

Ya well my batery doesnt keep charge after i shut the car off. it runs fine after i charge it then when i am driving around it is fine. then i let it sit for a hour or two i am done driving it is dead again any know why?

1) Confirm your alternator is working.
2) If it's not the alternator, you've got a short somewhere that's causing the massive current drain.

I assume the battery is confirmed in good condition?

ya well i have had a problem with my lights popping up like one has to stay up all the time and it used to drain my battery but it has worked sence and i dono why it would start up again well i can check my alternator if anyother news i will reply thanks

well i charged my battery and let it sit for half a day without connecting it and then i tried canecting it to the car and it didn't start so would you say that it is a bad battery! If i get a new one i got a fairly high sound system should i get two batteries ( optima blue top for the system and a redtop for the car) or should i get one battery! what do you guys think is best?

Have you had the battery itself tested? Could have gone bad. Autozone or Advanced usually tests em for free.
