"Bare Block" Pictures

I'm in the process of removing the "rats nest" and want to know exactly what needs to be done. If anyone has a picture of there motor minus the upper intake that would be great. Thanx

i don't have a picture but i did this on my TII. basically you unbolt the whole thing. your gonna need to cap the vacuum lines on the throttle body and get some extra fuel line to run from the hard lines to the fuel rails, i also removed my charcoal canister and capped the hard line going to the tank. i don't have a pic of it on my car but its VERY straight forward. you should only have about 4 vacuum lines when your done

Nope Felix I got rid of it. Alright vosko thanx, I already took the nest out, but don't know where to start in getting it back together, what about the line that runs to the oil fill and what about all the fuel lines, I'm gonna go try and get a picture and then ask from the pictures.

Buy some fuel injection fuel line and run it from the hard lines to the fuel rails. Get some vacuum caps and cap off any exposed fittings. Hook the fuel pressure regulator to a nipple that gets vacuum and boost. Leave the oil fill line on the bottom open (put a breather filter on it if you so desire), and cap the one on top. I have a picture, but its incredibly crappy.

you basically CAP everything. i went to pep boys and bought a vacuum cap kit with various sizes. the only thing is when you start the car now when cold your gonna have to hold the gas a little then it will idle on its own

1 is the cold start ****.
2 is the FPR
3 is the primary fuel rail. Feed it the line from the fuel filter.

Leave 4 alone. If you cap it, the car will smoke like hell.
I cant tell what 5 is.
6 is the fuel lines. Remove them at the hard lines on the frame rail, and run new rubber line. The one from the fuel filter goes to pic 3, the other one is the return from the secondary rail in pic 2.

That will work, I took it off and made a plate for it.

Also, ther eis a vac nipple thats nearly hidden on the lower intake. Look between the primary injectors, its sticking straight up, and its really hard to see.

4 and 5 do about the same thing. You can cap one or the other, just not both of them. If you cap them both, the car will smoke like a bitch. I found that out the hard way.

Yes. The only vacuum lines under the intake will be for the oil injectors and the FPR line will be on the backside.
