Exclamation Bad wheel bearings?

so while driving yesterday and today i realized that my fc was making a new noise. whie driving it is making a click-click-click sound so to speak. i notice it more at lower speeds just because i can hear over my exhaust. it kinda sounds like it does it every tire rotation. i could be wrong tho. is there something else that i should be looking at? i also seemed to hear the noise more on wavey roads. some one please help.

there could be something stuck in your tread (or something stuck through the tread). I've had small rocks and nails do this before. of course it could be something else, but it wouldn't surprise me if something's just stuck in the tread.

It's really easy to check for wheel bearing failure.
s
Grab the top of the wheel and pull/push on it.. .if it has any tilt/play to it then you have a wheel bearing going out. repeat for each wheel.

alright i just lifted the car up and checked all tread. there seem to be nothing lodged in the tread. so then i proceeded to check play in the wheels when i tilted them. there is some play but isn't that normal? how much play is too much? looks like most of the wheels move about 1-2 cm. the passenger front move less than the others tho. any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i had the car on the ground and started to pull at the wheel, and the sound seems to be coming form the strut. i'm thinking it might be the 2 bolts that hold the strut to the steering knuckle. i'll get back to you guys if that fixes it.

So? What was it? Got a worn bearing myself, and found this while searching.

There's no way the wheel should move 1-2cm. There should be zero play when you yank on it. Replacing all 4 wheel bearings shouldn't cost you more than $100 and a couple of hours in the garage and it will ride like new again.
