I haven't had any problems for over a year now. But am still upgrading to a dual ALT pulley soon. But what about the main crank pulley's, is nothing thrown off balance by doing this?

Had a buddy run like that for over a year and a half, on a mildly modded TII. No problems yet.

Try turning the pulley and doing it again. It only lines up one way.

I still run a dual pulley with my pineapple reclocation bracket. Yes it provides more contact area after being relocated, but I still prefer having both grooves taken care of.

Someone who installed an RE into their 2nd gen and swapped waterpumps to use the FC pump and also didn't use the serpentine's. It took me a long while to find one, usually you can try to find someone parting a RE motor or someone who's doing a swap and PM them and ask.

how expensive are those other ones.. those things are down right viscous looking! i wonder if they would work with the alternator relocation kit? maybe just a longer belt? whats the website to purchase them?

They're usually around $400 or so, which is why i opted for the $20's for the 13B-RE pulleys

With the stock thermoclutch fan in place you'll find the water pump pulley will often slip (and squeal) when the fan's engaged, as one belt isn't enough to drive it. This is most noticable when accelerating away from the lights. The thermoclutch has engaged because you've been sitting a while and when the engine speed increases quickly the single belt can't keep up. A dual-belt alternator pulley and two new belts will completely solve this problem.

I use a dual alt pulley. Its better then risking possible engine failure.
