BAD PROBLEM with the transmission

So i just went to pull out of my driveway. I start the car (86 rx-7), and put it in...Wait, it WON'T GO in reverse! All it does is grind when i try to put it in reverse and it won't go in any gear at all (i have the clutch to the floor). So i turn off the car, and put it in reverse before i start. I notice it will go into all the gears when the engine is turned off. So i had it in reverse and i start the car again. The car moves without me letting out the clutch. It's not just rolling because it's in gear, it's actually moving as if i'm controlling it with the gas and clutch(even tho I'm not) unless i brake. It does it with first gear too except forwards. And when i start it in gear, i can't take it out of gear unless i turn off the car again. I turned off the car and tried to start it again for the third time but now it won't even start all the way. Sorry but I'm just really pissed because i just got this car yesterday and drove it over 3 hours bringing it back home without any problems and this just happened tonight. Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks in advance. The description may be confusing. I really don't wanna have to replace or rebuild the tranny.

Ben
