well the point is, you will find a VERY VERY hard time finding parts this clean for our FC's, the big companies dont pay much attention to us anymore and the little companies pop up but then they go broke or just shut down and usually only a few units are circulating or whoever got one kept it. Clean parts like this attract FC owners like flies on ****

you will figure it out soon enough if you havent already

oh and in addition to the hard to find parts, sure, you can FIND parts for FC's, but the craftsmenship sucks ***** and most of the time unless you spend a rediculous amount of money it looks like crap too

WTF you talkin about??i still am a noob!!!...lol...search around for CAI and you wont find much better than this....most stuff that is out for the fc is just straight up insane prices...(BTW..we fc owners are cheap bastards!!)...its cool man..you can have 1,000,000 post and you will still get beat down...welcome to the site!!!

its hard to find good craftsmanship sometimes..their is lots of rigged up boxes but this is the best i have seen so far...

Hey i dont know what to charge i havent (like i said before) got a chance to ask the guy what the material was. And no it will probably be shipped flat, but it will be the finnished product with all parts.

-is 15 better....?

_i just took a look at it and it is like aluminum sheet metal flashing stuff.

Hey, by the way. Just take off your friggin air pump. Get a dual belt alt pulley, and a little filter for the hose going from the pump into the engine or just block it off. You don't need that thing.

You need it for 'emmissions' reasons. So if you have to pass smog you'll need it when you go to test. If they don't smog where you live, then lose it, it's just useless weight.

And about the removal of the airpump do you mean to replace the pully with one of the RP Alternator Dual Belt Pulley from rx7.com?

-would it be bad if i took the heat sheilding off from under my hood?

all right, i FINALY go a chance to go and check out the sheet metal to make it. Unless i can get a fair amount of people who want to but one(around 15 i think) then i can produce some. The material costs 80.00 for a roll of 24inx50ft, i can also get a smooth or textured one.

-so give me your opinion on what you all want.

i'd have mine just like you have it on urs cuz its beautiful

and btw, i wouldnt take off the heat shielding on the underbottom of your hood, i read somehwere on the forum that it will cause fading one one side of the hood, not sure which side tho.

plus im sure more than 15 ppl will want to buy your work. i know i want one, good luck..

i''m working on that now. so far i've got the temps for a simpe ebay cone filter. i've got a thread on it and i will be taking temps with the stock intake this weekend at the auto-x. next test will be with a cold air box on the cone.

btw the engine bay temps around there on a warm day get up to 150+ as measured by thermocouple. this was just sitting in grid. however, the engine never ran for more than 5 minutes stationary.
