ok when i crank the car sometimes it revs up higher than normal (not the start up procedure) and makes a really bad whirring sound... it does this mostly when its warm too... tonight it just something new happened... its making that bad sound really steady plus a ticking sound (seems to be coming from the belts) now when my door is open the lights start pulsing so i assume its my alternator because they are **** anyway and its at 12v at idle and of course the brakes make it dim like ****... now why would that sound be coming from the belt line? do alternators make that sound when they are on the verge of going bad? also i removed my air pump and have the water pump only on one belt until i can get the double pulley for it.. the car runs and cools fine and i do not use the car much so i dont run it for very long and i dont drive it hard much because i know its slipping at high rpms. any ideas on what could be the case? thanks in advance

also what are the symptoms of a bad BAC valve... i pulled the plug off of it and the car dies so could i assume the BAC is good?

tick sound?? i hope you didnt **** off any talibans around your hood lol j/k i say the tick could be a mount a little loosse making the engine sway a little makeing a little squeky sound. mines has a ticking sound with in idle lol i almost jumped out the first time lol. but i latter found it was my new air filter , since it was just hanging there, it was rubbing against the shock well makeing that ticking sound

well mine is like a squeeling sound... and its way to rev happy all of sudden... actually when i was typing that i had an idea... is my belt too loose maybe and causing the motor to spin too freely hense the sometimes happy rev sound? just an idea
