i just got my car back from mazda cause it has been running like crap and they did a compression check on it and the results were low to mid 5's on the front and mid to high 5's on the back they say i need a motor what do you guys think o ya and the cars symptoms are this

5 is very low. Should be 8 or higher.

 

Yup, you wanna see at *least* 6's or higher across the board. To convert to PSI (what most of us are familiar with) multiply those numbers by 14.7. 90psi is a running, but weak engine. 100psi is average. 110 is healthy. 120+ is like new.
