Bad lighting

Does anyone else in a 2nd Gen model have problems where it doesnt seem like your headlights are on? [when they are]

Mine are pretty dim, is that just the way it is?

or could that be something electronic? Fuses, wiring, bulbs etc.

I agree, my stock lights are so bright people keep flashing at me... and that's with the fog lamps off.

Also could simply be just dirty bulbs.

The pop-up design looks great, but makes the bulbs a magnet for road grime and bugs when up.

I was amazed at how much 'brighter' my headlights seemed when I thourougly cleaned them...
If it's really bad grime, you can use some acetone, but make sure that your lights are cool and don't get it anywhere near your paint(be careful)
Or just spend the $30 for 2 new bulbs

Well.. whatever is supposed to make them shine isn't there. its just a bulb and dull plastic. So I'm just using straight bulb.. there isn't much reflection, any recomendation on new lights, or a way to remedy the situation?
