Bad idea or good idea

This crap appears to me in my dreams all the time. This time this idea might actually work. So in my dream I took a hole saw slightly bigger than the holes in the lower intake manifold where the UIM attaches and drilled down about 1/8 of an inch. The next step was to put o-rings in the holes. The point is it would be a gasketless system. I really don't think it would work right and am not willing to try even though I have a spare set. What do you guys think. Bad idea or good idea?

would be very difficult to do without a CNC machine, but done correctly (with a CNC machine) it should seal. There would be a small amount of turbulence created by the edges of the O rings as compared to a properly port matched gasketed intake manifold set.

That's one of the downsides I had thought of.
