Bad Fuel Economy->problem?
I've only had my TII for a few weeks now and I seem to be getting pretty bad fuel economy, I'm wondering if this could be a signal of a problem with something. I'm getting 10-11mpg, the car is _Totally Stock_. Most of my driving is about a 20 min city trip to school. Most of the time I'm between 2000-3000rpm, but I'll usually do a couple full out (or close to it) 5-60mph shots.
Do you think this is bad fuel economy?
O2 sensor, TPS are new (or atleast it's suppose to be). However, there's a hesitation at 4.5&5k rpm if you floor it in any gear other than 1st. Air flow meter perhaps?

when's the last time you had the 60K mile services & fuel injector services done?
Mr. Haye's says:
excessive fuel consumption:
- diry or clogged air filter
- incorrect ignition timing
- emissions system not functioning properly (aka clogged cats or exhaust system leaks)
- fuel injection internal parts excessively work or damanged
- low tire pressure or incorrect tire size

Only had it for a few weeks, like I said, but several things have been done recently. Thanks for the Haynes thing, my Haynes manual is on it's way as we speak. (was shipped out last week)

just do a full tune up, spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, flush the coolant, change the thermostat. check the tps and timming. this should be done every year. as well as change the oil and filter every 2500miles or so.
you should be getting around 15mpg, maybe 20 if you're lucky or drive too slow
