TX bad bac wiring ?

so my brother in law got him self a 86 gxl for 400 bucks and i've been handing down parts to him to put on his car (meaning me putting them on) that i have stock pilled over the years. its been running good since i replaced the fuel pump with a stock one , water pump, injector o rings. well a week ago it started acting funning . he could be driving down the highway and then it would loose throttle response , he would pull over and turn it of start it back up and go to give it throttle and then the motor starts booging even in neutral. . so i got back to my casa and started looking at it . im going to adjust the tps today and a few others things .

so anyway i got to looking at the bac and the plug was broken so i got that fixed. so i hook up the bac and no click click . so i hooked some clips attached to the battery and it does it . i'm thinking wiring but i just wanted to make sure . also if you have any insight to what the actual problem is to the booging kick down a fellow 7 brother knowledge . i just doing a good once over the whole car and these is one of the few problems right now thanks again

so just to make sure i understand you. When you hook up the bat wires directly to the BAC it vibrates? If that is the case it is definatley the wires. HOWever, if the bac wires short out it can damage the cpu. This is fixable though.

Good luck
