Hey guys,

my dad and I bought an 86 GXL from a kid who was doing a lot of work to it and ran out of time and money. We got the car with no motor or tranny so we are putting our own in it. It's gone okay so far, but we hooked up the tranny (auto) and I went and got an auto shifter from a junker, and now I can't find the back up switch.
I found the two back up light switch wires from under the hood, but I think the kid before us cut them in half when he took the original motor / trans out of the car. I think they're green and red wires, but I have no idea where they go now, and I'd kind of like my reverse lights to work
Do these wires hook up to the transmission, or somewhere else?
