back lite mod

sup Guys.. today i just took off the back lites from my car and took the bubble screen off. looks pretty good. i only cracked it once in the bottom but not enough to notice. it took me about 45 min for both lites due to the glue that was on there. but it was very easy to do. well hope u like the pix! enjoy

were you able to take them off without heating up the glue? I tried taking mine apart, but I didn't want to crack them...

Supposedly you can throw them in the oven at low heat to soften up the glue.

dont the reflectors in there help to disperse the light so you dont blind drivers behind you at night when you hit the brakes?

yeah just toss them in the oven on a low temp for about 10 minutes, 20 minutes, whateve rworks, and slowly pull them apart, then you have to deal with getting all the glue out of the lense, i just stuck mine back in the over and scrapped all the metled glue out with a srewdriver

we did it on Nexpo8 and Fc3sfreek's cars with a blowdryer on high, it seems to work the best, no warping jus gotta put it directly on the edges where the glue is found. If u guys break your wife's/sister's blowdryer tell em sik7ven's mom is a hair stylist and will buy them new ones lol
