Thumbs up bac or what???

my s4 88 n/a has some starting and idle issues if i do get it started it will run on
one rotor for about 1 minute then it will kick in and run good though the warm up
but once it is warmed up the idle is very slight to none. Also while im driving the
secondary injectors kick in i can really feel the switch almost like a dead spot and
it doesnt always kick on at 3800 rpms like normal some times it does but most of the time its when i give it some thottle it will kick in above 3800 almost all the time but the power hasent changed at all still strong all the way to 8k..? there is also a mad misfire along with any load it will stall, like p/s and im guessing a/c but i dont have that so i wouldnt know. Im guessing this is the symtoms of a bac valve bieng off by alot from what i have read, this would also cause my tps readings to be way off, am i correct? please write what you think my problems are except bieng confused please, i have done a mind breaking search and i have read to many threads that are throwing me off thanx,
steven

I'd say check your compression first....

You have to have 3800rpm PLUS a LOAD on the engine for the secondarys to come online. You can drive a car gently up to somewhere around 5000 rpm without the secondarys coming online.
If your at say 4000rpm, driving gently, but then stomp the pedal, the secondays come on line because you put a LOAD on the engine and were over 3800 rpm.

Ok I got you on that one but if I removed the intake manifold but before i did that i messed with the screw on top then took it off, and then when i put it back on it reset the bac right?to where ever i adjusted it also my tps readings are way over and cant adjust that far back or foward maybe timing? I dont know im stumped and also sounds like a big cam in a v8 like blop blop blop and so-on, also im pretty sure compression is good because it was a rebuild from maztech and also has amazing power still, i hope and pray that compession is the culprit if so i have no compression tester and no will to buy one. I did a cheap compression test just to see if pulses were even and they were perfect like a (locomotive)
