BAC Valve question

Hey everyone what is the little sensor that the CORRECTION "Air bypass solenoid valve" plugs into on the drivers side of the throttle body. I pulled it out and there is a tiny resistor in it. I can't find it in the FSM guide.to measure its resistance.

I believe that one is for the 3000 RPM spike at startup. I deleted it and capped off the vacuum lines. Its not necessary, purely for emissions. In my opinion it is better to let your engine chill at idle. Theres also a temp sender at the bottom of the radiator, two bullet connectors. If the car is cold it will initiate the air bypass. You can also jumper the connection to disable the feature.

Thanks on the radiator are you talking about where the thermostat plugs in? not sure where you mean? Also if I remove and cap off that sensor port I just delete that solenoid all together? yeah got my car to start today it reved super high and then had to keep rev on it or it would die. Had loud backfire 2 or 3 times as loud as a gun shot.

In the last pic there that linkage I can lift and let go and it falls like its loose is this supped to be tight or is the throttle cable hooked up wrong I dunno?
Another problem car very hard to start its a miracle if it starts at all rev super high then dies. Can't find any vac leaks. Just found screw on back of thermowax way out of adjustment. adjusted at FSM recommended temp and aligned cam with markings. Car still won't start. tried adjusting timing moved leading mark on pulley and aligned with marker on engine. Adjusted CAS alighn small mark on gear with mark on CAS shaft or housing. place it back in try to start car won't. move leading pulley mark back onto engine marker pull CAS and Marker on gear is on opposite side of where it should be no longer aligned whats going on here ugh!

I wouldnt have recommended tampering with the CAS. The sensor in your first pic is the air temperature sensor from the intake plenum. I doubt that is the vacuum problem. The following pictures of the loose bit on your throttle body is for the cruise control cable to ride on. Your BAC valve has an inlet coming off the rubber intake snorkel, passenger side. The 3000 RPM startup solenoid is on the drivers side of the intake plenum. The coolant temperature sensor for that solenoid is at the bottom driver side of the radiator, two prong plug.
