BAC sensor?
Me again, 87 Turbo II - stock - the car has been to the dealer to get the cold start adjusted and that's working fine, but once you drive (even warmed up) it chugs (like my first try driving standard
) and won't run right. He went over the sensors and the BAC sensor failed every test - but he can't find what that sensor does? Anyone know?
Also the idiot lights aren't working - he heard something about sautering connections in the CPU? Anyone familiar with this?

BAC = Bypass Air Control valve. This valve adds additional air to the engine to compensate for load on the engine (such as AC, high electrical loads, etc).
Check junkyards for used BAC valves, they're not hard to change out.
The idiot cluster is a soldering fix, do a search on idiot lights or CPU and you'll find more info. I'm at work and don't ahve the links right now.
