BAC Removal on a S5 NA
Hey guys, I want to remove the BAC to clean it out since I know mine is kinda bad. Wella nyway I just want to know if anyone can point me on where to start. Looking from the engine bay, it seems like I have to remove the intake hose, then the 2 (or is it 3) coolant line going to the BAC, a connector to get it out. I assume it is hold on by 1 or 2 10mm bolts? Ami right, can someone point me to the right directions. Thanks

2 10 mm bolts, if I remember right, but I could be wrong. Take it off, and use brake cleaner in each hole. Spray till only clean fluid sprays out. What makes you think it is dirty?

2 years ago Dave at KDR told me. Well my idle is fine normally, but when I start to put accessories on. The idle would get too low. When I have the A/C on, idle would become high and erratic. TO make a long story short, it just takes a long time to transit from 750 back to 750 after I turn on an acessory. I thought you use carb cleaner, not brake cleaner?

I have heard both. Carb or brake cleaner. I have not done this, so this is merely second hand info from a old how to list I used to have link to. I will go look for it.....
