BAC removal.
******Middle of the UIM nipples on the front side*****
Errrrr, ahhhh......that nipple in the middle is not manifold pressure nor vacuum. It's ambient pressure taken from the front of the throttle body. Of which the end result is that the fpr is setting the fuel rail pressure at 38 to 40 psi all day long and not changing. Not that it really matters on a n/t car.

SonicRat, i have to get my engine looking like yours, i've removed a far amount, but not that much... I am planning on removing my BAC, but as for the coolant and Vac hoses running from it i am a bit skeptical of doing so.. I could also like to remove the "Spider" vac mount that sits just under the dynamic chamber, but again am not sure how and i would HATE to mess anything up..
Any insight into doing these things? IE: Where to route lines.. both vac and coolant.... sorry but i'm confused

Ok, just for the sake of not starting a new thread... I ran a hose from the water pump housing to the rear housing (under UIM). Santiago, what did you end up doing with that large half rubber half metal hose that runs from the BAC to the black intake plenum? I am at this point now and i'm not sure about what to do. Also, that silinoid you spoke of, that attaches via rubber hose to the dynamic chamber. can i remove that as well? If anyone has pics and maybe a short write-up it would be great.

RTV baby. Lots of it. I used it on the rubber ends and just left them as is. No need for anything more at the moment. I plan to fill it with somthing in the future. but I need to be carefull about what.
P.S. i am NOT removing the vaccume rats nest just yet, i will do this when i replace the manifold gasket... I am just removing the BAC, and EGR valve. I removed the thermowax on the TB and removed secondary throttle plates (drilled and tapped left over holes)
What else? lol

lol, blackrx7. ok, this morning i started her up. She wouldnt idle on her own (black throttle body elbow was loose) so i tightend that down than started it back up, walla i noticed idle was alittle low after removing BAC and EGR, think this is normal? i guess i'll just adjust to compensate. I didnt have any vac leaks from removing the UIM and reusing the gasket (RTV works wonders) I am going to take her apart again and polished the manifold, that's when i'll get a new gasket. Also, for some reason out of the blue my radiator cap is leaking!?!? Maybe there's just too much fluid in there, i dunno.

750 for a stock ported engine. To all of you who have removed the BACV and thermowax, what kind of adjustments did you have to make if any, to get the car to idle? I've got a bad BACV I'm thinking about ditching all together. Santiago, you used RTV to block the rubber vac lines to and from the BACV? Is there any other way to do this (not sure if they make vacuum caps that big)?

My car idled fine after this. I think. ITs been so long. lol
I am guessing you could stuff a bolt in there. but the RTV is still holding up. I need to fix that tho.

I have no charcoal canister. So what then,it is currently just going to a breather filter, but I get condensation under the cap.
Well, I mean the nipples for vacuum lines that are on the dynamic chamber I guess, right behind the TB. I have my OMP hooked up to that. I don't remember where it was originally since it has been along time since I removed the rats nest.

Rise from the dead evil one!
The pics posted of the BACV gone are dead... was wondering if anyone had some new ones?
After doing a bunch of work on my car, I somehow managed to lose my BACV... oops. So instead of buying one I'll just block it off, this car isn't really a street car-nor a track car-just a fun one.
