What would cause the bacv to go clicking when i plug it in? It an na harness wired for a t2 motor. Once the ignition is on you can hear it clicking until i unplug it.

I believe it is resetting itself. If I unplug mine w/the car running and then reconnect it the BAC will click repeatedly and if I step on the gas a bit it stops. Does yours do the same or is it a different story?

i havent tried unplugging and reconnecting it with it running. Just hear it clicking only with ignition on. Ill try it with it running and see it it stops. I thought i was the wiring it did cause i extended it for he t2 but i remember i matched both wires up correctly.

The BAC can also vibrate after the car has been running. If yours is clicking when the car is cold and you just turn the key to on then that is something completely different. The BAC also doesn't care which terminal receives the voltage and which terminal receives the ground signal from the ECU just as long as the wires are not touching more than one terminal at a time, thus the wires could be switched and that would be okay w/the BAC. As far as the wire that runs down to the ECU, that particular wire must not be grounding out accidentally or you would be getting the same results you are encountering for the non voltage wire is the trigger wire for the BAC.
