Hey Guys,
I've got an 87 TII that someone did an emissions delete on, otherwise stock except s5 turbo and exhaust. Normally when you start the car it revs up and down for about 5 seconds or until you click it into gear, since it doesnt have the aws solenoid it won't hold the high idle it just hunts for a moment. Intermittently in the past week I've had it to where it just does this constantly, but I was able to restart the car those times and it would go back to normal. However last night on my way home from work it started and still will not stop! Beginning to think I might have an ECU problem. Anyone know if anything else might cause this? I'll try and get a video of its behavior on my lunch break .

Small update, had a minute to play with it at lunch. With the TPS disconnected the car holds a steady idle at 2500. The resistance values of the TPS are fine in the idle position, but a bit high at wide open (Around 9k ohms), gonna try chucking the spare in it tonight and see if that helps any.
