Aux and VDI tuning.... needed?

Well, I was wondering if the aux and VDI should be tuned to different opening RPMs based on mods....

I know a Dyno would be better / best. But, I don't have one in my garage yet.

So, having a full free flowing exhaust and a nice intake, and a few other things, would it help any to open either sooner / later? Or is 3800 and 5200 the best spots?

From what Ive read the stock opening points seem to be pretty optimal. Maybe with certain mods that might change your powerband like a custom header changign the points might help, but you really cant tell what needs to eb doen w/o a dyno.
