aux ports WOES

well i finished the air pump auxillary port mod just before winter... y'know tapping into the air pump hose before it gets to the acv. i spent a good amout of time fabricating and what not so i know it's good and i had it working for a couple months flawlessly. now it's not getting enough pressure to open the ports at any speed and with any valve adjustment.

feels like the air pump isn't working or the acv is stealing all the pressure all of a sudden. anyone come across this or have any ideas? couldn't find any other threads on it...

I'd probably get a cheap mechanical boost or pressure gauge and put it on the line to see if you are getting enough pressure or if there is something else.

If you are not getting enough pressure then it could be as simple as yuour air pump failing

so it's most likely the air pump... i thought those things were bullet proof. i've done a mouth to hose test and barely felt anything... i guess i shouldn't have put that air pump from a junker on there just because it looked better. i'll replace the air pump first chance i get. thanks.

one more aux port related question. i have no main cat and thats why i am running the ports like this. without that air supply to lean out the exhaust mixture has anyone had wierd popping or afterburn on deceleration? when i let off the accel. pedal to just the right spot when moving above ~75 mph i get this wierd popping/warbling/vibration from the exhaust and it blows. only happens in final gear. anyone else experience this or is it just me?

I do on my S5, but there are lots of weird problems with my engine right now, one being low compressino. LoL
