aux port control rod pulls out?
with the LIM still attached to the engine, the front aux port rod is easily pulled out. not all the way out btw. while the other control rod seems like its held in place by something...
theres a small groove on the control rod... is a small snap ring supposed to be there?
edit: i didnt see anything listed in the FSM... but i could be wrong... i just skimmed through to see if i could find anything.

1st question is , Why are you pulling the rods"?
To the post responder. The clip is not on the backside of the LIM. It is at the front where the rod goes into the opening on the LIM.
The only thing that would be keeping the rod from coming out is gunk that has built up. In that case the rods will not turn freely and you would want to remove the LIM and clean the entire system which includes the sleeves.

to be honest... not sure why i yanked on it... the screws on the bracket were backed out some... maybe thats why...
LIM is already off the car... it all needs a good cleaning anyways.
everything turns easy and the sleeves were in great condition aside of being dirty.
