Autopower Roll Bar question

Hey everyone, I've searched a lot and can't find this answer:

With the Autopower 4-point cages, is it possible / safe to install a harness for the passenger seat? This is for track day use, no serious racing, but also not street, and I have racing buckets. I would like to safely be able to take a passenger around (and also sometimes be a passenger in my own car on the track!).

This is the cage I'm referring to:

We recently installed the Autopower 4 point but what is different in ours is that the harness bar and cross bar are both removable. The harness bar has a little bit of a curve to it where it bolts to the upright bar. In either case though you can attach your harnesses to the bar. We use Schroth 6 point harnesses (3"). They recommend using pieces of roll bar padding on either side of the harnesses where they wrap around the harness bar. This keeps them from sliding sideways. You can hold the roll bar padding in place using tywraps. Make sure that you specify (when buying harnesses) that they will be wrapped to a harness bar.

Thanks, that helps. What is the benefit of the removable bars?

It made it a little easier to install (at least for us). For those that have stock seat belts, use the car as a daily driver and need easier access to the rear, it helps. Welded would be stronger than removable. We're not planning on "road racing" the car except at some mild HPD events or maybe time trials so we weren't concerned about "removable" vs permanent.
