I have automatic seatbelts for my rex. The problem here is that "roller" on the driver side doesn't move. The roller is the little black rolling mechanism that moves up and down with opening and closing of the door.
The passenger sid works fine,\; the driver's side is stuck in the middle. How do I fix this?

There were recalls. The dealership is supposed to fix it for free. A cop told me that any problems with seat restraints 10 years (or less) after the car was manufactured is under warranty by the maker. I went and asked about mine a year or two ago and they turned me down. Just wait till' I tell them what the cop told me, and we'll see if they change their minds. When I went in, my car was less than 10 years old. I just use the lap belt and have the automatic belt disconnected. There is a wire behind a plastic panel on each side of the car next to the storage bins (or seats). Just pop out the plastic piece, and pull the wires apart and it will disconnect the belts so they don't move.

Be Careful at the mazda dealerships, I actually got my auto seatbelts repaired for no charge, in a way, but when I picked up my car my cd player, amps, 6x9s, and subs where all gone! the stupid service rep said "Did you drop off your car like that". To make a long story short take all valuable out of your car before going to the dealership. Yeah there is a web site where you can check your VIN number and see if there are any recalls, I don't recall it though

I doubt it was stolen by any of the mechanics, but you never know. Most of the time, the car gets parked outside (somtimes unlocked) and thieves can get into the car.
