I know isn't it? It took us like 5 months to get the shipping company to stop ******* with us though. They lost the first tranny and refused to cooperate or some ****. Anyhow, I'm happy to have a second tranny that sonic was kind enough to ship in place of the missing one.

Actually I've considered MT90, but haven't looked into it too much. Does it help out the synchros a bit?

I was grinding 2nd & 3rd with normal 75-90 stuff, slick 50 stuff, and neo-gear...Put the Redline in, I don't think I've got them to grind once since then (or maybe I've just learned how to shift slower, lol)...

my speedy gear pops out of the tranny though on hard shifts because the mount bolt is busted. Whenever it pops out, gear lube splashes out onto the cable and down to the ground... I'm havign to refill the tranny every few months.

Threadjacking bastards. I spent 4 hours searching for hooking the neutral switch up, I even went so far as to use the internet archive to dig up Landers old page with no luck.

No, this was a double post. You guys conviently threw my post with actual data to the second page. And nobody has any info for hooking up the 'nuetral switch' to the ECU, only bypassing the interlock.

LOL... no ****?

Aren't the wires for the nss just taped up in the loom near the steering column anyway? Like they ran the extra wires so they wouldn't have to mess with mfg changes, and the nss from the auto was an added wire?

Pretty much. Anyway, let me copy my original thread here, maybe you postwhores will finally catch on then!

Here it is:

From what I can gather from the FSM (see below), I should be able to run my neutral switch to the inhibitor plug (see below as well), on terminals A-B, and it'll work just fine and dandy since it's the same pin/etc between the 5sp and auto. Any thoughts before I go wire this up?

Looks like if you wire the nss between the a and b terminals it should work... thats how I see it anyhow. i think I just bypassed by jumping said terminals on the workaround?

Er damnit, sorry, I meant to post page 2 which has the neutral switch.

http://65.123.76.245/~rat/rx7/s5-na-ecu2.jpg

I'm just not sure how the switch works.
