Question is a auto vert suposse to be this damn slow?

i got a 90 vert/auto and this thing takes forever to move sometimes i feel like i can run faster than it takes off .this is a list of thing i have done today:

- Change oil and filter.
- Change spark plugs
- Clean fuel injecotrs with fuel system treatment
- Clean throttle body
- TPS adjustments.
- Fuel Filter
- Air Filter
- Tranny fluid and filter
- radaitor fluid

for some reason none of these thing seem to help much there is a slight diff but not realy noticable.... is there anything else i can do to help get some power outta this thing.the 5 and 6 ports r working, i checked the computer and no codes i had a compression test done about 2 r 3 months ago 90psi all the way around. i use only the highest octane i can find.
what am i missing?????? r is a auto vert realy this slow?? ( i am comparing it to a 87 n/a 5-speed since that was my last car and trust me my old car can do donuts around this one with out breaking a swet)

When mine was an NA car, I had a bad trailing coil that caused it to be much slower than even an Auto NA vert should be.

put 87 octane in.. it'll probably be faster.

90psi is starting to get on the low side as well.

lol

LoL...your one to talk

I get beat off the line by EVERYTHING.

I start out like any normal manual driven car. around 1000-1500 at full clutch engage, and it takes forever to get any acceleration out of it, but once you hit that sweet spot you sink into your seat and pass that bugger that passed you on the line. LoL.

I am going to make this clutch last 2 years if it is that last thing I do!!!
