Auto to Manual transmition conversion (Short write up/pics)

I couldnt find any real good ways on this forum to correctly fabricate a tranny mount and convert an auto rx to manual so heres a little right up with pics of how i converted my Automatic Rx7 to a manual.

I cut the manual tranny so that i could mount it to the tranny and use the bottum middles bolt to bolt on my mount i made myself.

So used two thick plates of steal and bent them both into the shape. one to my frame mount and one to the tranny. Note* used the exact frame mount holes for the auto tranny.

Then i basically used a block of wood to hold up the tranny to were i thought the drive shaft was fairly level. Then i welded the two peices of metal together and that was that.

So thats what i did for the tranny mount and it hasnt given my any troubles since i put it on which was 6 months ago.

Now for the driveshaft extention part. My car was a GXL 88 and had a LSD and the s5 drive shaft would not bolt up to it so i Extended my s4 auto drive shaft.

So i'm using an series 4 auto drive shaft in a manual turbo s5. At first i didnt think this would work because the yokes are little different but I've been driving hard for the last 6 months and have had no problems.

Hope this helps anyone who's trying to convert their auto to a manual or debating whether or not to even make this move.
