Auto to Manual swap. Crossmember question

Can I get custom built cross members or can I mod the cross members I have. I have a '89 GXL with an auto and a TII transmission with the original crossmember. What are my options.

I believe that you are going to have to use the TII crossmember and then make some brackets. The reason for the brackets is because the automatic mounts farther back (?) than its manual counterpart.

You can make new ones, or make adaptors...

I got adaptor bars that reach from the 5spd bracket to the atx bracket mounts...
