Thumbs up auto engine into manual car

will an auto engine go into a manual car? i heard the throttle body is different, as well as the counterweights? or can the flywheel simply be changed over to the manual one?

They should be the same... I have never owned an auto, but from what I know from looking at the cars in the junkyard, the throttle bodies are the same (I used a throttle body from an 87 base on my 88 GXL when the throttle body started sticking w/o any issues.) Plus, the auto comes w/ a rear counterweight so you can use a lightweight flywheel... Otherwise, if you wanna use a regular s4 n/a flywheel, I suppose you can just remove the flywheel.

Must use the flywheel for the specific series (S4 or S5) of the automatic engine. As stated above, you could use an aftermarket flywheel utilizing the automatic counterweight.
